Clyde Scott and QuarterMax Racing Parts Continue to Revolutionize Pro Mod Racing with Mid-West Drag Racing Series Collaboration

Clyde Scott, multi-time Pro Mod champion, tuner, and driver, is once again setting the stage for an exciting season in the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) presented by J & A Service, LLC. Not only is Scott the visionary behind RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max Chassis & Racing Components, but he also owns and operates Xtreme Raceway Park, the first stop in the 2025 MWDRS season, scheduled for April 11-12. Located just off I-45 in Ferris, Texas, Xtreme Raceway Park is DFW’s premier 1/8th-mile drag racing facility.

One of the standout features of Xtreme Raceway Park is the “Bull Pens”—raised platform, covered viewing areas directly behind the starting line that give fans an unbeatable view of the action. The track also boasts a 40 x 40 covered pavilion with picnic tables and large commercial fans, ensuring comfort during hot Texas days. Concession areas are equipped with similar cooling features to make it a prime venue for racing events, offering spectators a memorable experience at every race.

In addition to owning and managing this top-tier facility, Scott’s leadership with RJ Race Cars and QuarterMax Racing Parts continues to push the limits of Pro Mod racing. QuarterMax-built cars are known for their speed, precision, and versatility, with a range of builds from Pro Stock and Top Sportsman vehicles to street rods and customs. At the 2024 World Series of Pro Mod, QuarterMax-produced machines took the stage, with Victor Alvarez’s Camaro qualifying 15th and Rian Hayward’s new car running an impressive 3.593 ET to qualify 4th.

Mark Micke’s 2024 MWDRS Stroud Safety Pro Mod Championship win in an RJ Race Cars-built Camaro is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship and engineering of Scott’s team. Additionally, 6-time NHRA Pro Stock Champion Erica Enders Racing races in an RJ Race Car, underscoring the trust top drivers place in the QuarterMax team.

With the ability to produce Pro Mod builds in under a year, QuarterMax Racing Parts delivers elite performance across various racing classes, from Pro Xtreme Outlaw to NHRA-level vehicles. Clyde Scott’s hands-on approach, combined with his expertise as a driver and tuner, ensures that every car is engineered for success.

This collaboration between Mid-West Drag Racing Series and Clyde Scott’s QuarterMax Racing Parts, alongside the opening event at Xtreme Raceway Park, signals a thrilling new chapter for the 2025 racing season. Fans and competitors alike can expect nothing less than the best in performance and innovation.
