Keith Haney Racing made its return to Cecil County Dragway for the 16th annual Yellowbullet Nationals.
Facing a stacked field of fourteen of the toughest Pro Mods on the planet, the team knew they had to bring their best, and they did. Haney closed out qualifying with a strong 3.627 at 208.49 mph, earning a first-round matchup against Mike Decker Jr. Round one was a battle, with Haney laying down his best run of the weekend, 3.619 at over 207 mph. Unfortunately, the win light went to Decker who posted a 3.614, but the performance showed the team’s progress and potential. The MOV was .01 at the stripe in a great drag race.
While the result wasn’t the one we wanted, the strides we made give us confidence heading into this weekend’s Mid-West Drag Racing Series stop at US 131 Motorsports Park!
