Ferris, TX — The wait is over! The 2025 season of the Summit Racing Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) presented by J&A Service LLC roars to life THIS WEEKEND, April 11–12, at the beautiful Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, Texas, for the Xtreme Nationals.
With over $50,000 in payouts up for grabs, the biggest names in drag racing are ready to battle it out across a full slate of action-packed classes, including:
Stroud Safety Pro Mod presented by Larry Jeffers Race Cars
FuelTech Pro 4.20
Icon Forged Pistons Top Dragster presented by Race Star Wheels
Compressed Air Supercharging Top Sportsman
Race Star Wheels Pro Junior
Zimmerman Sportsman Junior
Plus, Xtreme Raceway Park will feature Xtreme Iron Man Pro Mod, Old School Back Half, 5.0 / 5.80 / 7.0 Index, 4.50 Pro Mod Bike, and VW Brackets classes for an even bigger weekend of racing.
Testing takes place April 9–10, giving teams two full days to fine-tune before qualifying begins.
Huge Storylines to Watch:
The Stroud Safety Pro Mod presented by Larry Jeffers Race Cars class is locked and loaded with a full field of Blower, Turbo, Nitrous, and Screw combinations — setting the stage for unforgettable side-by-side battles!
Pro Mod kicks off its 9th season — with 8 years and 7 different champions, will Keith Haney become the series’ first three-time champion?
Defending 2024 Champion Mark Micke (M&M Transmission) will be absent from the opener. Could that decision shake up the points chase early?
Pro Mods will race for $20,000 to Win and $5,000 to the Runner-Up — the stakes are HUGE right out of the gate.
In FuelTech Pro 4.20, two-time and defending champion Dave Pierce brings the iconic Purple Gorilla Firebird back to the track, looking to dominate once again.
Top Dragster will be one to watch after a thrilling 2024 season! With a tight field hungry for an early win, defending champion Jordan Eperjesi starts her pursuit of a second straight title this weekend.
Plus, Jeremy Maples, the 2024 Top Dragster runner-up, will be pulling double duty! Maples is set to compete in both Top Dragster and Top Sportsman, working hard to debut his brand-new Top Sportsman car at Xtreme Raceway Park.
In Top Sportsman, three-time champ Rod Moore begins his hunt for a fourth title — but challengers like Mark Griffin, Tina Pierce, and now Jeremy Maples are all ready to shake things up.
